    U. of I. history professor Peter Fritzsche looks at the Nazi transformation of Germany prior to World War II in his upcoming book “Hitler’s First Hundred Days.”

    U. of I. history professor Peter Fritzsche has spent much of his career studying the Nazis’ rise to power and their appeal among Germans, as well as life in Nazi-occupied Europe during World War II. Much of his source material comes from letters, diaries and other personal accounts, which he employs again in his upcoming book “Hitler’s First Hundred Days.”
