CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Chancellor Robert Jones and other campus officials will seek feedback from the public in a May 1 event designed to continue the momentum from an April 10 group conversation on Native imagery.
Intended to provide an opportunity for stakeholders to generate insights, concerns and ideas for moving forward, the gathering will be from 3 to 6 p.m. in the South Lounge of the Illini Union, 1401 W. Green St., Urbana. No formal program will be presented; participants may review ideas generated in the April 10 event and offer input, comments and questions.
The event is open to the public and light refreshments will be served. A video of guest speakers from the April 10 conversation – which was limited to registered participants – will be shown at 3, 4 and 5 p.m.
