  • Alma mater conservator to talk Oct. 25

    Head games Andrzej Dajnowski, the lead conservator with Conservation of Sculpture and Objects Studio, Forest Park, Ill., explains the disassembly process to a team from the U. of I. that is following the status of the work. Further work has shown that the Alma Mater statue actually comprises 48 pieces and was kept together with nearly 1,000 bolts and fasteners.
