CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’s day-long summit on sexual harassment takes place Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in room 2025 of the Student Dining and Residential Programs Building, 301 E. Gregory Drive, Champaign. While the event is open to the news media, audio and visual recording will not be allowed.
“Cultivating Bravery, Changing Culture: The Illinois Summit on Sexual Harassment” will provide administrators a forum to discuss issues unique to higher education and to equip administrators with tools to be culture change agents. In addition to a lineup of national experts who conduct sexual harassment-related research and campus administrators who have worked to create a culture of respect and inclusion, the event will include a panel of students who will share their stories to illustrate the academic and professional impact of such conduct.
