  • Krannert Art Museum exhibition celebrates early images of nature, female artists

An exhibition opening Aug. 31 at Krannert Art Museum will feature images of nature, many of which contributed to scientific knowledge at the time they were made. A recently acquired 17th century painting – “Still Life of Flowers in a Glass Vase on a Stone Table Ledge,” by Anna Ruysch – is the centerpiece of the exhibition.
