    Tammy Nohren, an administrative assistant in the College of Engineering dean's office, refuses to be at the mercy of the heavy load of emails and communications she must handle each day - so she keeps organized to stay ahead of them. Nohren's system is legendary in the office, which serves as the main conduit for administrators, the college's 10 academic departments and four research units, university administration and nearly 400 faculty and staff members.
