CHAMPAIGN, Ill. Anthony DiTommaso, the president and chief executive officer of Innerpac Inc., will speak April 3 on "Career Fulfillment From Entrepreneurism" during the 2001 Cozad Lecture at the University of Illinois. The talk will begin at 5 p.m. in 141 Wohlers Hall, 1206 S. Sixth St., Champaign.
A 1974 UI graduate with a bachelor's degree in finance, DiTommaso founded Innerpac in 1986. The company, based in Cicero, Ill., produces chipboard and corrugated assembled box partitions, pads and die-cut specialties. From five employees, the company has grown to employ 550 people and has annual revenues of $40 million. It operates manufacturing plants in Cicero; El Paso, Texas; and Keene, N.H.
DiTommaso was general manager for Sonoco Products before founding Innerpac. He has been active in the Cicero Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is a member of the Business Advisory Council of the UI College of Commerce and Business Administration.
The Cozad Lecture, sponsored by the college, is free and open to the public.
