  • Staring at yourself during virtual chats may worsen your mood, research finds

    U. of I. psychology doctoral candidate Talia Ariss and her colleagues found that people who stared at themselves during an online chat tended to experience a lower mood after the conversation, an effect worsened by alcohol consumption.
