On Saturday, October 1st the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System will host a healthcare conference dedicated to addressing issues and access to care in African American and Hispanic Communities. In its 16th Year of existence, this conference has been an essential element of UI Health, and I am thrilled to ask if you could take time from your schedule to (join us) or just drop in to say hello to our attendees. This symposium is organized by our faculty, staff and administration of the University of Illinois Chicago, and our focus will concentrate on mental health, violence, and gun control. This year’s keynote speakers are Lt. Governor, Juliana Stratton and Commissioner Allison Arwady, City of Chicago.
Please feel free to contact Dr. Phyllis Hayes via email (hayesp@uic.edu) with any questions.
