The New York Times (Sept. 1) – At the Paralympic Games, which begin Wednesday in Rio de Janeiro, Illinois alumna Tatyana McFadden could become the first athlete to sweep every distance in wheelchair racing. Her sister Hannah, a current Illinois student, is racing in three of the same events, including the 4x100 relay. If the McFaddens finish side-by-side on the podium, they will be the first sisters to do so in a Paralympics.
