Technology Services to perform maintenance on campus network Oct. 23

Technology Services will perform maintenance to the campus network on Friday morning, Oct. 23, beginning at 3 a.m. The work is expected to take 15 to 20 minutes, but maintenance could potentially continue until 5 a.m.

During this maintenance, users of an on-campus wired or wireless connection will not be able to reach off-campus websites such as cnn.com or nytimes.com. Conversely, users connected from off campus or using a cellular wireless signal may not be able to reach Illinois Web resources and websites such as illinois.edu. Additionally, VPN connections from off campus may be dropped during this maintenance.

For more information, contact the Technology Services Help Desk at 217-244-7000 or consult@illinois.edu.
