Students invited to U. of I. campus Oct. 21 to meet with law schools

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – College students in Illinois preparing to apply to law school are invited to attend Law School Day at the University of Illinois on Oct. 21.

The event, free and open to the public, will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Rooms A, B and C at the Illini Union, 1401 W. Green St., Urbana.

Representatives from more than 100 law schools are expected to be on hand to talk about their schools and about the process of applying. Students also will be able to pick up applications, brochures, financial-aid information and other materials.

The event is sponsored by the Midwest Association for Pre-Law Advisers, the U. of I. Division of General Studies, and the U. of I. Pre-Law Club.
