Students and adults benefit from local mentoring programs

Want to be a mentor?

University employees may use an hour of release time per week for mentoring in local elementary and secondary schools, as provided by policy in the Campus Administrative Manual.

Mentor training sessions • 6:30-8:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Urbana Free Library, 210 W. Green St., Urbana, • 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Mellon Administration Building, 703 S. New St., Champaign. To register for one of the sessions, call 337-0853.
