Law School Day to take place Oct. 8 at the U. of I.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Illinois college students preparing to apply to law school are invited to attend Law School Day at the University of Illinois on Oct. 8.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the ballroom of the Alice Campbell Alumni Center, 601 S. Lincoln Ave., Urbana.

Representatives from more than 100 law schools are expected to be on hand to talk about their schools and programs, and about the process of applying. Students also will be able to pick up applications, brochures, financial-aid information and other materials.

The event is sponsored by the Midwest Association for Pre-Law Advisers, the U. of I. Campus Center for Advising and Academic Services, and the U. of I. Pre-Law Club.
