CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Illinois college students preparing to apply to law school are invited to attend Law School Day at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on Sept. 27.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Illini Union, 1401 W. Green St., Urbana, in Illini Rooms A, B and C.

Representatives from more than 100 law schools are expected to be on hand to talk about their law schools and about the process of finding and applying to law school. Students also will be able to pick up applications, brochures, financial-aid information and other materials. The event is sponsored by the Midwest Association for Pre-Law Advisers, and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Pre-Law Club, both at Illinois.
