Museum staff work with faculty members to develop courses and modules, facilitate research of museum collections and create individualized tours that highlight course content and themes. Spurlock Museum also offers opportunities for graduate students to work in the museum, complete internships or practicums and conduct original research.

The open house allows visitors to speak with faculty members and students who have collaborated with the museum in the past, and museum employees will be on hand to discuss potential collaborative projects and priorities. Light refreshments will be served.

The museum is located at 600 S. Gregory St., Urbana. Parking is available at meters on Oregon and Gregory streets. To request accessibility accommodations, call 217-333-2360. Early requests are appreciated to allow sufficient time to meet access needs.
