Media advisory: Audio and visual recording allowed at April 17 Chancellor’s Critical Conversations event

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — News media attending the second Chancellor’s Critical Conversations event will be allowed to record content from the session.

The second conversation, regarding free speech issues, occurs April 17 from noon to 1 p.m. in Colwell Playhouse at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, 500 S. Goodwin Ave., Urbana. Speakers will be Erwin Chemerinsky, the dean of the University of California, Berkeley School of Law; and Geoffrey Stone, a former law school dean and former provost at the University of Chicago.
