Jacksonville father elected president of Dads Association

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. Francis B. Nelson Jr. of Jacksonville has been elected president of the Dads Association at the University of Illinois.

Other newly elected members and their offices include (EDITORS: See list).

The Dads Association comprises fathers of UI students and promotes parent involvement in university activities and fund raising for student programs. Founded in 1922, the association is believed to be the first organization of its kind in the nation.
