Interim Chancellor Barbara Wilson to attend CAP meeting Feb. 4

Interim Chancellor Barbara Wilson will join the Council of Academic Professionals Feb 4.

In her “Welcome Back” video, Wilson said, “There is no other place like the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and we have shown for nearly 150 years when we work together the world sees the results.”

The meeting will begin at 1:15 p.m. in Room 314A of the Illini Union, and all academic professionals are urged to attend. Academic professionals who wish to submit a question for Wilson about matters of concern to the academic professional community should submit their questions online by noon Jan. 28.

University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign professor Christopher Burcham has been elected to the National Academy of Engineering this year. Burcham, a professor of the practice in the department of chemical and biomolecular engineering, joined the university last fall.
