‘Experience the Hops’ at Allerton Park and Retreat Center

Allerton Park and Retreat Center will host a winter weekend seminar on topics related to beer and brewing from 1 p.m. Feb. 27 to noon Feb. 28. Staff members from Against the Grain Brewery, Bell’s Brewery, Brickstone Brewery, Revolution Brewing and Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. will be available.

Experience the Hops” will include seminars, dinner with beer samples Saturday night, overnight accommodations at the Allerton estate, light brunch on Sunday, and a Boots and Brew Hike on Sunday. The event provides a rare opportunity to interact with beer experts and enthusiasts from the region.

To make reservations, call Allerton’s front desk, Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 217-333-3297; space is limited. Cost is $143 to $195, depending on room occupancy.
