Janet Lynn “Jaelyn” Jefferson, 55, died April 3 at her home in Champaign. She was employed at the university library in acquisitions for 34 years before her retirement in 2014.
Sharon Jo Shiu, 73, of Tuscola, died April 6. She retired from her job as a mail messenger at the university. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 12, at Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 S. Main St., Tuscola. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at the funeral home.
