Deaths

Vivian Gladis Reid, 81, of Champaign, died March 6 at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana. She worked for many years as a dietary supervisor for the university.

Thomas Dale “Tim” Roberts, 92, died Feb. 13, in Seattle. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 18 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Road, Urbana. He was employed in vocational agriculture with the university for many years. Memorials: Champaign County Humane Society, Illinois Food Bank or U. of I. Friends of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

Russell E. Winterbottom, 89, of Champaign, died Dec. 22. He worked at the university from 1963-87 as an electronic music technician.
