Deaths

Robert Duane Mackey, 79, of West Terre Haute, Indiana, died Jan. 30 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was a systems analyst, beginning his career with the university. Memorials: Faith United Methodist Church or the Providence Pantry.

Kevin Daniel Peterson, 36, of Savoy, Illinois, died Jan. 29 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He worked for the university as a cook for 18 years. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

James Richard “Dick” Teague, 70, of Ivesdale, Illinois, died Feb. 4 at his home. He worked at the university from 1994 until 2001. Memorials: Disabled American Veterans Champaign County Chapter 8.
