Donna Kuhlman, 79, of Savoy, Illinois, died Dec. 19 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was an assistant home adviser in Adams County with the University of Illinois Extension. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at the First Presbyterian Church of Champaign, 302 W. Church St. Memorials: First Presbyterian Church of Champaign, the Alzheimer’s Foundation, or the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at Illinois.
Elsie Willfong, 99, of Ogden, Illinois, died Feb. 12 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She worked at the university.
John E. Zehr, 88, of Urbana, died Feb. 5 at Clark-Lindsey Village in Urbana. He was a longtime professor and head of the department of physiology and biophysics at Illinois. A service of celebration and singing will take place at First Mennonite Church in Urbana at a later date. Memorials: Student Scholarship Fund at Bethel College in Newton, Kansas, First Mennonite Church or the American Heart Association.
