William Curtis Blaylock, 85, died Nov. 19 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco. He taught in the department of Spanish, Italian and Portuguese at the university for more than 35 years.

Susan Blunier, 53, of Champaign, died Dec. 2. She worked as an engineer for the university. Memorials: Apostolic Christian Homeof Roanoke, Illinois.

Paula Jo Goodwin, 62, of Atwood, Illinois, died Dec. 2 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was a custodial worker at the university. Memorials: American Lung Association.

Barbara Clarke Swain, 89, of Champaign, died Nov. 24 at Episcopal Church Home in Louisville, Kentucky. She retired as head librarian for the home economics library at Illinois. Memorials: Cottey College in c/o PEO chapter AR, First Presbyterian Church in Champaign or the Champaign County Humane Society.
