John R. Dahl, 92, died Jan. 15 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He was a professor of history for 22 years, retiring in 1989.

Malcolm Gale Davis, 97, died Jan. 12 at Champaign Urbana Regional Rehab Center, Savoy. He was a compositor in the print shop for 35 years, retiring in 1972. Memorials: a Methodist church of the donor’s choice.

Beverly D. Rodriguez, 81, died Jan. 11 at her Champaign home. She started as a secretary III in the department of psychology in 1971, and she retired as a secretary III in the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs for Career Development/Placement in 1996. Memorials: Champaign County Humane Society.
