Deaths

Paulette J. (Kaminski) Graziano, 73, died Dec. 18 at her home in Wayzata, Minnesota. She was a professor of economics at the U. of I. for 13 years, retiring in 1997 as professor emeritus. Services will be held in New Kensington, Pennsylvania at a date to be determined. Memorials: Ursuline Academy, 1106 Pennsylvania Ave., Wilmington, DE 19806.

David H. Offner, 92, died Dec. 5. He was a professor of mechanical and industrial engineering at the U. of I. for 44 years, retiring in 1991 as professor emeritus. Memorials: Urbana Theological Seminary, 314 E. Daniel St., Champaign, IL 61820, or Twin City Bible Church, 806 W. Michigan Ave., Urbana, IL 61801.

Loren W. Wardlow, 78, died Dec. 17 at the home of his family in Johnsburg, Illinois. He was a painter for 17 years for the Division of Operation and Maintenance (now Facilities and Services), retiring in 2001.

Memorial service

There will be a visitation for Elizabeth Kelly-Fry from noon to 2 p.m. Jan. 9 at Owens Funeral Home, 101 N. Elm St., Champaign. A graveside funeral service will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Champaign, with Deacon Bill Scott officiating. Kelly-Fry, 97, died Dec. 30 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida. She was a research associate for the department of electrical engineering from 1954-1974.
