Margaret R. Henry, 91, died April 11 at her home in Pesotum, Illinois. She worked at the U. of I. for 26 years, retiring in 1993 as a cashier I for Student Accounts and Cashiering. Memorials: St. Thomas Catholic School, 311 E. Madison St., Philo, IL 61864, or St. Mary Catholic Church, 612 E Park St., Champaign, IL 61820.

Clarence Lee “Pete” Phillips, 89, died April 8 at his home in Minier, Illinois. He worked at the U. of I. for 35 years, retiring in 1987 as a building service worker for University Housing. Memorials: Minier Village Fire Department, 107 W. Central St., Minier, IL 61759.

Daniel Keith Slack, 73, died April 8 at Gibson Area Hospital, Gibson City, Illinois. He was an extra-help employee from 1985-2004, often working at State Farm Center events as a gateworker. Memorials: Eastern Illinois Foodbank.
