Nolan McNeely, 99, died May 2 in Chandler, Ariz. He worked at the university as a foreman.

Jean Colee “Jeanie” Mullen, 89, died June 25 in Marietta, Ga. Mullen worked as an archivist for 36 years at the President’s Office. Memorials: Alzheimer’s Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 1700, Chicago, IL 60601.

Kathryn Jean Glasper, 75, died June 21 in Belleville, Ill. She was the first African-American police officer at the university. Glasper retired from the Division of Rehabilitation Education.

Mary Matilda (Brownfield) Ebert, 80, died June 12 at Wills Point, Texas. She worked as a building service worker.

Junetta Blythe Gillespie, 85, died May 28 at Presence Covenant Medical Center, Urbana. She retired from her job as director of video production in the Foreign Language Laboratory. Memorials: Urbana Park District for prairie and natural woodland restoration in Meadowbrook Park.

Jerome B. Kaufman, M.D., died June 24 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He taught future health care professionals at the university and served on the Neuroscience Committee. Memorials: Jeff Kaufman Fields Fund in care of the Champaign-Urbana Schools Foundation.
