Virginia Marie Garth, 93, died Aug. 7 in Savoy, Illinois. She worked at the College of Veterinary Medicine for many years. Memorials: Developmental Services Center, 1504 W. Bradley Ave., Champaign, IL 61821.

Robert Lee “Bobby” Sarver, 53, of Champaign, died Aug. 8 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He worked as a roofer at the university for more than 25 years. Memorials: Kidney Foundation, Cancer Society or St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sadorus, Illinois.

Wilson Miles Zaring, 89, of Sun City Center, Florida, died at home July 1. He was a retired professor of mathematics from the university. Memorials: Heifer International, 1 World Ave., Little Rock, AR 72202, or First United Methodist Church.

William Paul “Bill” Manning, 76, died Aug. 4. He worked as an accountant at the Student Financial Aid Office for many years. Memorials: Developmental Services Center, 1304 W. Bradley Ave., Champaign, IL 61822, or to Camp New Hope, P.O. Box 764, Mattoon, IL 61938.
