Robert W. McCleary, 93, of Mahomet, Illinois, formerly of Tolono, Illinois, died May 9 at Glenwood Assisted Living of Mahomet. He worked as a laborer in the Operations and Maintenance Department, eventually becoming foreman of the labor shop. He retired from the university in 1987 with 30 years of service.
