Construction at Campus Recreation Center East (CRCE) and at the Intramural Physical Education building will continue through the summer, as the first phase of a $77.6 million renovation project for Campus Recreation. CRCE will expand from 35,000 to 110,000 square feet and will gain a 1/8-mile indoor track, a leisure pool and spa, and locker rooms among other amenities. CRCE and the portion of IMPE that is under construction now will likely reopen at the end of the fall 2004 semester.
