  • Former site is new site for campus’s African-American cultural center

    OLD WILL BE NEW
It’s official. The Bruce D. Nesbitt African American Cultural Center building will be torn down and replaced with a new building at the same location at Mathews Avenue and Nevada Street. The center has been housed at a temporary site on Gregory Drive since 2014 because the general condition of the old building, shown here, was very poor, including structural and plumbing issues.
