  • Study: Ground-level ozone reduces maize and soybean yields

    USDA Agricultural Research Service scientist Elizabeth Ainsworth and her colleagues at Illinois found that ground-level pollution has reduced corn yields by 10 percent and soybean yields by 5 percent over the last 30 years.
