Amazon has announced an agreement with the U. of I. to open Amazon@Illinois, a staffed pickup location in the Illini Union Bookstore, 809 S. Wright St., Champaign. The first Amazon pickup location in the state of Illinois, Amazon@Illinois offers the campus community a place to pick up and return Amazon orders.

Opening in fall 2016, this approximately 2,200-square-foot space may be used by Illinois students, staff and faculty. Amazon Prime members will receive free same-day pickup for orders placed by noon and free one-day pickup for orders placed by 10 p.m. Students can sign up for an Amazon Prime student membership; more information is available at amazon.com/joinstudent.
