The print version of Inside Illinois was honored with an honorable mention in the Best Tabloid/Newsletter for Internal Audience category in the 2015 Pride of CASE Awards for District 5. Honored were Doris Dahl, editor; Mike Helenthal, assistant editor; and L. Brian Stauffer, photographer. The Council for Advancement and Support of Education is an international association of education advancement officers who include alumni, administrators, fundraisers, public relations managers, publication editors and government relations officers, according to the organization’s website. District 5 includes members from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin.

The last print issue of Inside Illinois was published Aug. 20. It is now published online, with the week’s top news sent through email each Thursday to all faculty and staff members, graduate students and subscribers.
