  • Nothing is everything: How hidden emptiness can define the usefulness of filtration materials

    A new study by Illinois materials science and engineering professor Qian Chen, right, and chemistry graduate student Falon Kalutantirige emphasizes the importance of nanoscale empty space in everyday materials.
