  • Illinois researchers make Deseret Alphabet texts available for study

    Computer science professor Neal Davis and linguistics professor Ryan Shosted hold a copy of the Book of Mormon written in the Deseret Alphabet at the Rare Book and Manuscript Library. The two formed the Illinois Deseret Consortium to provide resources for studying Deseret, which was created by the Mormons and used briefly in the 19th century.
