West African head coverings and wraps will be featured Sunday in a workshop at the World Heritage Museum. "Africa's Textile Treasure" will be presented at 3 p.m. at the museum. Dawn Blackman of Motherland Art and Design, Champaign, will explore the cultural roles of textiles, especially head coverings and wraps. Participants will be able to try on the head dresses of some African communities while hearing about their social significance. The World Heritage Museum is located on the fourth floor of Lincoln Hall. It is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.
