Postmenopausal women with elevated blood cholesterol levels are invited to participate in a human-nutrition study to be conducted on campus beginning in early 1995. The study will focus on the effects of diet on blood cholesterol, hormones and bone density. Breakfast will be served Monday, Wednesday and Friday with extra foods provided for daily consumption during the course of the 24- week study. A $500 honorarium is available. The research is being conducted by Susan Potter, a UI professor of nutrition and a registered dietitian, and by several other co- investigators on campus and at UIC. Interested participants should contact Betty Ramos at 333-0606 or send email to: email@example.com for more information.
