Busey Bank is seeking historical photographs featuring Urbana - and the
UI - for inclusion in a book, "Urbana: A Pictorial History."

The book, which will be available exclusively through the bank, is expected
to be published this fall. Its author is Urbana writer and photographer
Raymond Bial, author of "Champaign: A Pictorial History," published last
year.

The Urbana book will contain about 450 pictures with captions and text, and
- like the Champaign edition - will include a dust jacket featuring an
illustration by Billy Morrow Jackson, UI professor emeritus of art.

Anyone with photographs, scrapbooks or related material that may be of
historical interest to the project may bring them to Trish Underwood in the
main lobby of Busey Bank, 201 W. Main St., Urbana. A receipt will be issued
so that all material can be returned directly to the contributor as soon as
possible. Contributors will be acknowledged in the final publication.

More information is available from Susan Abbott at 384-4564.
