Retirement counseling and planning seminars announced

In conjunction with National Save for Retirement Week (Oct. 19-25), the UI is offering free retirement seminars and 403(b) plan counseling to its employees.

Retirement seminars:

  •   “SURS – 5 Years from Retirement,” 3 p.m. Oct. 29, presented by State Universities Retirement System

  •   “Getting Started in Your Workplace Savings Plan,” 2 p.m. Oct. 27 or 10:30 a.m. Oct. 28, presented by Fidelity (403(b) Plan)

  •   “Keeping Your Investment Strategy on Track,” 3:30 p.m. Oct. 27 or 9 a.m. Oct. 28, presented by Fidelity (403(b) Plan)

  •   “Planning Ahead for Retirement,” 2 p.m. Oct. 28 or 10:30 a.m. Oct. 29, presented by TIAA-CREF (403(b) Plan)

  •   “Asset Allocation Principles – Developing an Investment Strategy,” 3:30 p.m. Oct. 28 or 9 a.m. Oct. 29, presented by TIAA-CREF (403(b) Plan)
