Free retirement-planning seminars offered

University Human Resources and the campus Benefits Centers are offering a series of free retirement-planning seminars and one-on-one counseling sessions to UI employees. Representatives from Fidelity and TIAA-CREF, the vendors for the UI Supplemental 403(b) Retirement Plan; the CMS Deferred Compensation (457 Plan) Unit; and SURS will lead the seminar discussions.

The seminars offered:

• Fidelity: “Finding the Right Investment Strategy,” including introduction to Roth 403(b)

• Fidelity: “Keeping Your Investment Strategy on Track,” including introduction to Roth 403(b)

• TIAA-CREF: “A New Way to Save for Retirement … Introducing the Roth Option”

• TIAA-CREF: “How to Plan for What’s Best for You in the Years to Come”

• CMS: “Introduction to the State of Illinois Deferred Compensation (457) Retirement Plan”

• SURS: “Planning for Retirement”
