Airport crash drill
Area firefighters and other emergency services personnel attend to people portraying victims of a mock plane crash at the UI’s Willard Airport on May 22, as part of a drill designed to simulate their response in preparation for a real event. The airport is required to conduct a live response drill periodically, with tabletop exercises in the intervening years.
