King
J. McCristal Distinguished Scholar Award
Daniel R. Fesenmaier,
professor of leisure studies, received the King J. McCristal Distinguished
Scholar Award. Established by Dean Emeritus King J. McCristal, this
award recognizes individuals who have made key contributions to their
area of research.
Academic Professional Excellence Award
Carol Firkins, academic adviser, community health, was honored for displaying
excellence in overall work performance, promoting positive morale, exhibiting
professional growth, displaying creativity and initiative and enhancing
the image of the unit and university.
Excellence in Advising Undergraduate Students
Kathi Ritten, academic adviser for speech and hearing, was recognized
for outstanding undergraduate advising.
Staff Excellence Award
Joyce Wolverton, administrative aide, Office of the Dean, was recognized
for displaying excellence in overall work performance, promoting positive
morale, exhibiting professional growth, displaying creativity and initiative
and enhancing the image of the unit and university.
